Prevent your screen from going dark
- 10 eggs
- 1 cup ham, roughly chopped
- 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- salt, to taste
- olive oil, as needed
- butter, to grease the baking dish
Heat an oven to 190 C or 375 F.
Dice the onion and mince the garlic.

In a saute pan heat a small amount of olive oil over medium heat and add the onion and garlic. Cook for 3-5 minutes until soft, but not burnt.

In a large bowl break open the eggs, add a pinch or two of salt.

Mix with a whisk until the egg yolks are broken and blended.
Take the butter and grease the baking dish.
Pour the eggs into the baking dish.

Add the ham, mozzarella, onion, and garlic.
Once the oven reaches 175 C / 375 F place the baking dish on the middle rack.

Cook the egg bake for 35 minutes.
If you desire less browning you can cook for 40-45 at 350F or 175C.

Let cool for 5 minutes and then with a sharp knife cut the egg bake into 12 squares. Pack it up and head to the potluck!
