1 steamer pot regular pot, large enough to steam the peppers
1 steamer insert fine mesh sieve
1 food processor or blender
Cut the bell peppers in half, remove the seeds and white membrane.
Chop the bell pepper into 1-2 inch cubes.
Fill a steamer pot 1/4 full with water. The water should not touch the steamer basket.
Heat the water over high heat and bring to a boil.

Once boiling place the bell pepper pieces into the steamer basket, steamer insert, or fine mesh sieve.
Cover with a lid and cook for 20 minutes.
Once cooked, place the red bell pepper into the food processor or blender. Blend until silky and smooth with no remaining chunks. 1-2 minutes.
Store in an airtight container for up to 7 days in the refrigerator.
