Harissa Spiced Red Snapper
Harissa, Harissa, Harissa. The combination of spicy and earthy make this spice a current favorite everywhere you go, and this recipe is no exception! Red snapper is a tasty white fish on it’s own, and adding this spice blend takes it to another level. When we go to Sarasota, Florida Red Snapper is on the menu at every seafood restaurant. Grilled or fried it is a delicious fish, especially when caught fresh. There are also group fishing boats that take you out onto the Gulf of Mexico for half or full day fishing trips. The half day trips usually only yield Grey Snappers, which are also fantastic and we have made an incredible beer battered Grey Snapper from one of our fishing trips years ago and it was out of this world. But alas, we call New Jersey home and this Harissa Spiced Red Snapper recipe is an epic way to bring some incredible flavor to an already great tasting fish.
