Portuguese Grilled Prawns / Gambas Mozambique Recipe

Grilled prawns, portuguese gambas mozambique, portuguese grilled shrimp

On our various trips the Portugal we are always in search for the best seafood the country offers.  The same goes for our trips into Newark, New Jersey!  One of our favorite dishes is spicy and smoky Portuguese grilled prawns, aka Gambas Mozambique.  The dish is prepared by marinating the shrimp in a spicy sauce, which ensures each bite has a little spice, followed by spending a few minutes on the frill.  The result is an incredibly tasty barbecue seafood dish.  Our recipe brings all of that delicious flavor right into your home.

Portuguese Grilled Prawns / Gambas Mozambique Yum
Portuguese Grilled Prawns aka Gambas Mozambique are a smoky, slightly spicy grilled jumbo shrimp that are incredibly flavorful. The spicy marinade creates a depth of flavor that you will enjoy in each bite. You can multiply this recipe based on the number of people that will be eating the shrimp. For every 8 shrimp you should double the marinade, but the prep and cook time will remain the same.
