Sintra’s unique microclimate means it can experience cooler, mistier weather compared to nearby Lisbon. The area is known for its lush greenery, which thrives due to frequent rainfall. To make the most of your visit, it’s essential to check the weather forecast before you arrive. Pack layers, as mornings can be cool even in summer, and bring a mix of clothing for both sun and rain.
