The Union Square Farmer’s Market in New York City offers up an incredible variety of locally grown, seasonal ingredients. After a trip to Seattle that including many meals crafted with seasonal ingredients we returned to the city inspired. As we roamed the stalls we overheard a few patrons discussing fried squash blossoms stuffed with cheese. With an abundance of unique soft cheeses and bright squash blossoms this was the perfect time to attempt making fried Stuffed Squash Blossoms. This recipe includes lavender infused goat cheese and ricotta we found at the market, and can be replaced by what you find at yours.
